The conflict arises when we personally encounter the damage that racism causes and our own conscience rebels against us and asks us to do the opposite—stand up against racism.
“Religion” is often blamed as the reason why the Israel-Palestine conflict continues. But if peace were the thing that Muslims and Jews were religious about, the conflict would be over, and peace is what we would have.
My perceptions had been trapped inside a little box and reality was so much more grand and beautiful. And full of life.

Does it not feel great, even euphoric, to be better at something than another person? I think it does. But only superficially. And, it is short-lived. It attracts resistance, and at some point violence. It retards cooperation, relationships, communities, nations.
